Here is a list of five museums that are just wonderful! All of them offer very detailed lesson plans for all subjects and grades. They can very easily be manipulated. Everything that you could possibly need for connecting art and any subject is right here. They are very easy to navigate and find what you are looking for.

National Gallery of art
This is a very helpful website. It has many lessons plans for you to choose from for all ages. It is very easy to navigate through and find what you are looking for, or maybe you will just stumble upon a something while checking out the website. All of the lessons offered are very interesting and will keep all of the students engaged. NGA also allows for teachers to sign up for Art workshops to keep pleasure in visual arts. The Teachers Tab of the website is where everything you need is right at your fingertips (the link above will take you directly to it).There are numerous of learning resources, classroom art, and an interactive kids website where the children can make art online waiting here for you!
Philadelphia museum of art
This website is very easy to browse things that have online teacher resources. This website also connects you to the Wachovia Education Research Center. Within this website you can find very useful materials to help with cross-curricula connections. All of the lesson plans are very detailed, they are available for all grades and subjects. Everything that you will need for the lesson that you choose is right there in front of you. These lessons are also very adaptable. You are able to visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art virtually so that allows for your children to be exposed to the art located inside of the museum without ever leaving the classroom.
The J. Paul Getty Museum
This websites offers so many interactive things so that the children can always be engaged. There are games, videos, and activities for the children to do on their own.This museum does offer free workshops so maybe during the summer if you wanted to take a trip you could also bring back something to use within your classroom. The lesson plans are available for all grades and connect to many subjects.This websites also offers you an opportunity to join the Teacher Art Exchange. This would give you a chance to not only share lesson ideas and resources, but also network with colleagues across the United States.

This website offers lots and lots of downloadable resources for all subjects and grades!!! All of the lesson plans are very detailed and easy to follow, they are also very easy to manipulate. This website does have video demonstrations but the are mainly for middle school and higher. It is extremely easy to refine your search results so that the information that is presented to you can be used inside your classroom.
DENVER art museum
This is a really great website. Full, detailed lesson plans are available for all subject and grades. It offers a list of other very useful websites, so that everything you could possible need is conveniently all located in one place.So that cutbacks on searching the web for other places to find things for your lessons. You can set up a virtual classroom course so that a staff member from the Denver Art Museum is right there in your classroom! The workshops/webinars that are offered can attended from any computer with internet access! It is very easy to find materials and resources used in previous workshops/webinars.
